Hellenic Pasteur Institute  |   Expression of recombinant antibody fragments by Phage display

DESCRIPTION

Phage display is a laboratory technique that allows the construction of large antibody libraries displayed on phages in order to identify and develop highly specific protein and antibody interactions. Recombinant antibody fragments (scFv or Fab) are amplified and cloned for expression on the phage surface and then can be screened for selection of antibody fragments with the highest specificity (“panning”).

RELEVANT STAFF:   Avgi Mamalaki , Alexios Dimitriadis
SERVICE DETAILS:

Large scale production of recombinant antibody fragments expressed in the supernatant of E.coli. The subsequent isolation of the recombinant antibody fragments is achieved through chromatographic analysis.

For the construction of antibody library and panning, our service can provide experimental protocols and advices.
