Kostas Bethanis is an Assistant Professor at the Physics Lab, Biotechnology Department of the Agricultural University of Athens. The field of his expertise is “Physics with emphasis in theoretical developments and applications of crystallography". His research interests include (i) theoretical study and method development for crystal structure determination, (ii) supramolecular crystallography, (iii) protein crystallography (iv) molecular dynamics simulations. He has participated in 6 research programs and he has published 25 articles in international scientific journals, 5 chapters in 3 collective books, 23 oral and poster presentations in international conferences and he has been the scientific editor in the Greek edition of 2 University Physics textbooks. He’s been a reviewer of about 37 articles in more than 15 scientific journals. Two PhD and more than 10 MSc theses have been completed under his supervision (2 more PhD and 1 MSc students are currently under his supervision).
